Joel Wernick
Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, GA, expanded exponentially under Mr. Wernick’s leadership as Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Wernick dedicated 30 years of his life to transforming Phoebe from a local hospital into an award-winning, multi-campus regional hub with national recognition.
Glyn Richards
Mr. Richards has many years of transactional experience under his belt vis-a-vis leveraged buy-outs, mergers, acquisitions, private equity sales, and start-up ventures. More recently, Mr. Richards served as President and CEO of the global chemical company, Anitox, and currently serves on its Board of Directors.
Joan Carlson
Mrs. Carlson has over 40 years of operational experience in the full continuum of health care and long term care including Home Health, Personal Care, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Acute Care. She has been a direct care provider as an RN, is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator and has been President and CEO of two CCRC’s and a 440 bed Acute Care Hospital.
Charles Whitney
Mr. Whitney retired as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of Oglethorpe Power on December 31, 2016 after serving in that capacity since August 2009. In addition to practicing law for almost 30 years, Mr. Whitney has more than ten years of experience in senior management in operations and finance in the electricity industry, including both the regulated and unregulated aspects of the business.
